This two day workshop is for Reflexologists who want to enhance their therapy practice and learn how to integrate Nerve Reflexology into their current classic reflexology sessions. It is the first step and an introduction to Nerve Reflexology which has many uses either as a stand-alone treatment or as a combination with both reflexology and body work therapies. This is an ADVANCED level of training which offers a combination of both theory and practice for supporting clients who may present with low back or pelvic pain.

Neuro-anatomy & physiology with respect to pain
Different types of pain
Nerve reflexology - its development and progress
How to take a consultation in the four pillars of pain
How to carry out an assessment for clinical reasoning
The importance of pain measurement tools
An understanding of fascial integrity
Specific Nerve reflex (NR) points for supporting low back/pelvic pain
After completing this two-day workshop, you will receive a ‘Certificate of Attendance’ and can gain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points from both the AoR and FHT .

COMMON QUESTIONS ANSWERED: Am I able to use the techniques straight away following the course? Yes, the techniques and theoretical principles taught at the workshops provide you with all you need to be able to go back to your clients and offer a combined classic/nerve reflexology session.
Do I need to take out an additional insurance cover for Nerve Reflexology? Nerve Reflexology is simply an advanced and specific technique of reflexology and is covered under your standard insurance policy with no additional cover required.
Are there additional workshops on Nerve Reflexology? Once you have completed the basic introduction you may opt to attend further workshops using a combination of nerve reflexology and classic reflexology such as 'Pain, Stress and the Inflammatory Response' or you may decide to undertake the full 'Nerve Reflexology Diploma'.
