Continuing our collaborative work in the 'Managing Pain' series, we bring you our latest workshop, 'Managing Pain across the menopause'. All women experience the menopause at some point in their lives, whether it is medically induced, early onset or just as a normal part of aging. Some women sail through it without any major symptoms but for others it can be a difficult time, impacting upon relationships, work and psychosocial well-being.
One of the most commonly reported symptoms after hot flushes, is pain and joint stiffness, often a result of the lowering oestrogen levels. Supporting women to manage their pain and menopausal symptoms can provide enormous health benefits in both the short and longer term. Maintaining mobility can be key to longevity and reducing pain allows us to improve our mobility, enjoy a better quality of life and improve our social outlook.
If you are keen to provide the most effective results for your clients, then come and join us for another insightful collaboration, combining the benefits of Reproductive Reflexology, Nerve reflexology and pain science.
We bring you an evidence-based approach into the causes, symptoms and diagnosis for each stage of the menopause from peri, to post. Our approach considers both medical and reflexology perspectives of its management, using a combination of both classic and nerve reflexology.
This ADVANCED hybrid training offers a combination of both theory and practice across 14 hours of tuition from two of the world's top researchers in reflexology. Offered as a hybrid course, you will spend time online to collate theory and face to face for the practical. Video links of the nerve reflex points will be made accessible in between the two dates for you to practice and you will then consolidate your learning face to face.
FIRST COURSE DATE & VENUE Online theory 11th November 2024 from 9a.m. - 5p.m. Practical learning and consolidation in Frenchay, Bristol on 18th November 2024
