FACE TO FACE Workshops will resume a.s.a.p In the meantime, why not check out my online workshops for Nerve Reflexology - An Introduction & Pain in Cancer Survivors
Nerve Reflexology - An Introduction - NOW ONLINE This two day workshop was developed for Reflexologists who want to learn Nerve Reflexology but are not yet ready to commit to the full Nerve Reflexology Diploma course. It offers a combination of both theory and practice for supporting clients who may present with low back or pelvic pain and is a great introduction to the techniques for a stand-alone treatment.
Pain in Cancer Survivors - NOW ONLINE This two-day workshop addresses pain as one of the late and long-term consequences of cancer and its treatments. We look at the causes of pain in Cancer Survivors and review ways in which we can support our clients in pain with reflexology. There is a specific emphasis on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy and an insight into the wider pain impact.
NEW workshop - Pain, Stress and the Inflammatory response - Under review for ONLINE training The bio-psycho-social model of pain is based on the idea that ill health has both a social and cognitive process which cannot be separated (Lumley, 2011). The model proposes that the body affects the mind and that the reverse is also true. Learn why stress is a major factor in the inflammatory response and how that affects pain, and how you as a reflexologist can use your skill and knowledge to provide support.
Nerve Reflexology Diploma This modular based training programme is designed to advance your practical and clinical skills as a reflexologist and offers a detailed insight into the dynamics of Nerve Reflexology as a specific technique for supporting clients in pain.
