Nerve Reflexology - neck and shoulder pain

'The shoulder of responsibility' - A nerve reflexology approach
Picture
Workshop aims and objectives
  • Provide insight into the neuroanatomy & physiology of the neck, shoulders and thorax
  • Muscle, organ and nerve chains linked with shoulder/arm pain
  • Understanding of the most common pain conditions of the shoulder/arm
  • Review the holistic aspects of shoulder pain
  • Gain an understanding of assessment methods and clinical reasoning skills
  • Practice the Nerve reflex (NR) points for neck, shoulder and thorax
This is the second in the introductory series of Nerve Reflexology and takes a closer look at the complicated shoulder girdle and the aspects of the nervous system involved in pain for this area.
The workshop is composed of both theory and practice.
The techniques taught can be used either as a stand-alone treatment or in conjunction with your other therapeutic interventions.

My aim is to make this a fun and interactive workshop.  So be prepared to play, make and do!  The practical element is composed of two days face to face training.  The theory can be started as soon as you have registered and paid the appropriate fees.

You will be provided with a downloadable theory workbook ahead of the course and you are strongly advised to complete as much of the theory as possible prior to attending the practical class.

After completing this workshop you will be required to submit a case study demonstrating your clinical reasoning skills, the completed theory questionnaires and evidence of reflective practice.

The course fee is broken down into two aspects.  The theory is £160 and the practical is £180.  You may pay for them separately or in full.
You will receive:
  • Pdf download for the theory
  • Video links for practical revision, following attendance
  • Post course support
  • Certificate of competence on successful completion of the case study, theory and practical observation.
To participate in this workshop, you must hold at least a Level 3 qualification in reflexology with full anatomy and physiology.

COMMON QUESTIONS ANSWERED:
